Predictions 2019: Pisces

189px-Pisces.svgPisces (for those born Feb. 19- March 20): For a mutable water sign oozing with talent (and often beauty and fame, think: Rhianna, Justin Bieber, Josh Groban, Liz Taylor and Daniel Craig, just to name a few Big Fishes), it may seem perplexing that you grapple with a sense of inadequacy much of the time.

Maybe one explanation is that your two rulers, Neptune and Jupiter, are storm gods. With Neptune ruling over tempests and Jupiter in charge of sea gods, your imagination runs wild at times and you pick up on the turmoil and suffering that often surround you.

Your daydreams take precedence over reality any day. As such, many Pisceans need to be regularly convinced that presence on the planet and their contributions matter.

You also want so much to belong. If you haven’t found your school of fish, you feel incomplete. Emotional circulation is your jam. And perhaps your biggest challenge is to forgive (yourself and others) and let go of anger, pain and grief so you can move on.

In 2011, Neptune entered your sign of Pisces, the sign he rules, where he’ll be until 2026 (a little over 14 years!). The year 2011 was also when a more diminutive (but no less potent) asteroid moved into Pisces: Chiron, aka the wounded healer. Having both in your solar first house has amounted to an ongoing meltdown of sorts and may have triggered a very deep and personal healing crisis for you.

Neptune, as an outer planet that cannot be seen by the naked eye, has ground through your first house ever so slowly, just a few degrees each year. As of 2019, Neptune is only about half-way through your solar first house, where it has slowly dissolved what you thought was your identity and altered your ability of normal self-expression.

Chiron travels faster than Neptune and, after seven years, has moved ahead of Neptune, clearing a path for Neptune to follow. The asteroid will soon be leaving your sign and, in fact, briefly moved into Aries from April to September of 2018. It then backtracked into Pisces but only until Feb. 17, 2019, when it will re-enter Aries for the long haul until 2027.

As such, you can expect a major shift in mid-February along with a potentially new healing journey.  [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2019: Sagittarius

235px-Sagittarius.svgSagittarius (for those born Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Does the date Nov. 8, 2018, resonate with you? That’s when your ruling planet, Jupiter, returned to Sagittarius, the mutable fire sign it rules. Jupiter only comes “home” once every 12 years, and it will remain in your sign for just 13 months.

So, what should you expect when the planet of good fortune and higher purpose comes home? Shall we modestly say: “good things”? Many good things, in fact? Hey, Child of Jupiter, the stars are smiling upon you!

Not only are lucrative offers likely to tumble in but golden opportunities in all shapes and sizes show up where you least expect to find them, and a form of divine luck protects you as you experiment and dash at new windmills. This is your “Get Out of Jail Free” card should you need it, so use it to realize your potential and increase the moral value of your life.

The question is, Child of Jupiter, will you train your eyes to see these gifts from on high? Do you have the knack to make something of these opportunities? Will you be courageous enough to explore new territory and embrace the spirit of adventure during this exciting time?

To benefit from Jupiter moving through your sign, imagine surfing. You need to paddle out and watch the waves, set your sights on the perfect one and then paddle hard to catch it, pop up and ride it in for an exhilarating rush of momentum. Sure, there might be sharks lurking below or a coral reef you’re about to crash into, but that’s where divine luck comes in.

The best way to catch your wave of higher purpose is immersing yourself in long-distance travel, university studies, spiritual education at church, or even breaking with a traditional religion to explore new faiths and deeper spirituality.

Jupiter is about liberation and fulfillment. Have you been released from something that was binding you? Thank your ruling planet. So, what will you now do with your freedom? [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2019: Leo

184px-Leo.svgLeo (for those born July 23-Aug. 22): For many a child of the Sun, the years 2017-18 might have been among the most life-altering in recent memory. Those changes, however, may not have registered with you. They could have flown right over your crown.

Not only did Leos experience the spiritual lessons of a “fateful” nodal return in their sign from May 2017 through November 2018, but both years featured a succession of five eclipses in Leo. As eclipses always involve the Sun (Leo’s ruling planet), children of the Sun are wise to pay heed to them.

From the eclipses of 2017—on Aug. 7 and Aug. 21 (the Great American eclipse)—to those of 2018, on Jan. 31, July 27 and Aug. 11—you may have sensed unsettled feelings in your partnerships. You may have even sensed that you were being manipulated or controlled by others close to you, but when you tried to prove it, you could find no evidence. You could see how other people were dealing with similar relationship challenges but felt you were immune to being a victim of gaslighting.

This is because eclipses, especially those in our own sign, create a blind spot or shadow. We find ourselves in the dark about certain things and often are not told “the emperor has no clothes” when it would have been nice to know it! Eclipses make it difficult to see very far down the road, and therefore we can’t gauge what is occurring sometimes until months and even years have passed. So, we tread carefully and feel our way through these periods of time.

Your relationship may have been feeling like one big question mark. You stay together because it is the path of least resistance, not necessarily because you see a future for yourself as a couple. Leos love being in love and all the grand gestures that go with it, but what is that for at the end of the day? Believe it or not, to be fulfilled, most Leos seek a line of succession, a “royal heir,” and that’s where your focus wants to be right now: on children.  [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2019: Cancer

300px-Cancer.svgCancer (for those born June 21-July 22): In early 2019, you might be accused of living up to your name: “Crabby.” But for good reason. The year kicks off with an overwhelming emphasis on your partner.

“Others” are a big deal now, and you tend to feel responsible for them. That’s not all negative. Maybe you’re just starting to appreciate the work involved in “partnering up.” You may have been the driving force that brought a partner into your life, but now you need to deliver because it’s locked in. No more squeezing the produce. You can’t afford to be super-sensitive and back out at the first obstacle; you have to make it work.

If you’re single, the unrelenting emphasis of your solo quest, of the absence of a partner, could be causing you distress. That you must go it alone is a bitter pill, and one you’ve resisted swallowing for the past year.

This is perhaps not the happy news you were hoping for, but it’s the start of a reset that’s overdue and sorely needed. It’s probably best to acknowledge that relationships have been a sticking point for more than a year—since Saturn entered your solar house of partnership in December 2017. Traveling through the sign of Capricorn, Saturn is in the sign that it rules and will remain there until December of 2020. That means Saturn has a free hand to test you, especially when it comes to relationships. Your partner isn’t just stealing the limelight; he or she might be placing heavy demands on you because they themselves feel overwhelmed. Your tendency to protect your loved ones means your partner’s burdens often become yours.

But know this is subject to change. Much of what goes on when Saturn first enters a sign is a dismantling of sorts. Saturn kicks down old structures and inspects the foundation of everything that he touches. That means your partner’s health, wealth or disposition could be tanking. About midpoint through Saturn’s transit of a sign, the planet of trials and tests assists with rebuilding, encouraging you to create a more honest and enduring approach to relationships. [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]
