Predictions 2015: Pisces

189px-Pisces.svgPisces (for those born Feb. 19- March 20): Call it a mixed blessing. For the past several years, it seems, you’ve been awash in emotions, creativity and inspiration. All these blissful feelings and oneness with the divine — yet no one to experience it with. What good is cosmic understanding when you feel so alone?

Welcome to Neptune. In 2011, your ruling planet returned to Pisces after traveling the zodiac for 165 years. Neptune is the planet of imagination, and his arrival in the sign he rules has likely enthralled many a Pisces, which he will continue to do until he moves on in 2026. He certainly made a good first impression, harmonizing with two other planetary heavy hitters also in water signs: Saturn, the planet of trials and tribulations, traveled into Scorpio in 2012 and will finish up there in the fall of 2015. Jupiter, the planet of higher purpose, made its way through Cancer in 2013-14.

In 2015, Neptune no longer needs to cooperate and blend in with others. Jupiter and Saturn have moved on to new signs, and each is slowly beginning to square, or create tension with Neptune. Whether or not the three can continue to make beautiful music together remains to be seen. [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2015: Aquarius

350px-Aquarius.svgAquarius (for those born Jan. 20-Feb. 18): 2015 begins with a welcome shift, a release from an oft-times do-or-die mission involving your career and public life. Over the past two and a half years, you’ve either succeeded beyond your wildest dreams or had to throw in the towel in plain view of all who know you — maybe some of both. You want to feel that all your hard work was not in vain, that you have made a significant and lasting contribution to the community, yet acknowledgement from those in charge is in short supply.

But this is about to change. With your co-ruler, Saturn, changing signs as well as houses in late 2014, your status can no longer be denied. Saturn is the planet of tests and trials, and you’ve proven you could climb every mountain put in front of you. Now that you gained the prestige you worked so hard for, the question becomes, what are you going to do with it?

It could be that you’re feeling a tad used up, lacking a clear intent about your next conquest. You also may feel restless and easily provoked. Behind it all is an urge to be more daring and independent even if it means turning your back on the people and tried-and-true methods that helped you achieve success. You’re just fed up with the same-old, same-old and want to see a new and improved version of yourself and the world around you. [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2015: Capricorn

246px-Capricorn.svgCapricorn (for those born Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Capricorns live in the real world, in the here and the now. But that may be about to change in 2015. That’s because, on Dec. 23, 2014, your ruling planet, Saturn, moved out of Scorpio’s realm of deep, dark secrets and into the adaptable, hopeful, wisdom-seeking sign of Sagittarius. Your philosophy and what you do and don’t accept on faith will come up for scrutiny over the next two and a half years.

Saturn — the planet of trials and tribulations – is also in your solar 12th house of introspection. Your ruling planet doesn’t really mind spending time here because he prefers the soulful alone-time afforded by the 12th. Here, he can be camouflaged and quietly contemplate his next phase of life without too much pressure. At the same time, your quest for faith and a higher purpose could bring you face to face with the habits, behaviors and even the secret enemies that play a role in self-sabotage. Thus, with Saturn in the 12th house, the potential for you to unravel is heightened, but if you play your cards right, you could come through this transit downright enlightened.

As Saturn is now traveling through a Jupiter-ruled sign, he has to conform to a new set of customs and rules. Don’t be surprised if you feel a little untethered as 2015 begins, at least until March 14, when Saturn goes retrograde. Life feels different, and for you, different isn’t always good. It requires you to be adaptable and flexible, and that means you’re dealing with unproven, untried and unpredictable people and circumstances. Oh, the humanity! [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2015: Sagittarius

235px-Sagittarius.svgSagittarius (for those born Nov. 22-Dec. 21): It’s time to get real. That may be your new mantra going in to 2015. But just what does it mean for a Sagittarian to get real? That’s exactly what Saturn, newly arrived in your sign, is hoping to find out as you test the foundation of your identity and self-image.

Perhaps you’re noticing that physically, you’re feeling your years. You may be running up against your biological clock wanting to start a family or maybe you’re noticing a few strands of gray on your temples. The challenge is to find a new way to look at your aging process. Maybe you need to hone a whole new philosophy about life because you’ve outgrown your existing belief system. This is your time, until December of 2017, while Saturn, the planet of tests and trials, resides in your sign to work on that change, and then to test the concepts that you project into the world.

By helping you become more focused on the here and the now, Saturn may put a damper on your usual free-spirited way of life. Not only that, but as the year begins, your ruling planet, Jupiter, is retrograde, or appearing to move backward in the sky. From now until April 8, it could be a challenge for you to muster your usual enthusiasm or big-picture thinking. It may feel like someone or something has quashed or delayed your plans for travel or educational studies abroad. If you do travel, it may seem that your luck isn’t as reliable as it usually is. Predictions 2015: Scorpio

214px-Scorpio.svgScorpio (for those born Oct. 23 to Nov. 21): What’s that we see, Scorpio — a Mona Lisa smile? After two-plus years of serious business, you can finally loosen up and, yes, even smile. That’s because Saturn, the planet of trials and tribulations, exited your sign in late 2014. If, over the past couple of years, you’ve recoiled whenever anyone criticized your appearance or identity, blame Saturn. If your presentation style has become more cautious, inhibited and wary, it’s probably due to Saturn. On the positive side, you could have lost weight or are now rocking a more dignified style. You just seem more comfortable in your own skin. Perhaps you’ve even become known as an authority figure. Thank Saturn.

If you’ve been holding back broadcasting your personal magnetism, Scorpio, now’s the time to let ‘er rip. This year, Mars, one of your planetary co-rulers, will travel through all three air signs – Aquarius (Dec. 5, 2014 to Jan. 11, 2015), Gemini (May 12 to June 23) and Libra (Nov. 13 to Jan. 3, 2016). Air signs symbolize the way thoughts and ideas are exchanged through relationships. After the heavy inward focus of the past couple of years, Mars may welcome the opportunity to learn what others are thinking and talking about. This coming year, then, represents a leap beyond simply trying to figure yourself out; your outlook will be much more social and universal.  [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2015: Libra

281px-Libra.svgLibra (for those born Sept. 23-Oct. 22):  You may have noticed that lately you’re learning a thing or two about partnerships, cooperation and sharing. Since these are precisely the traits that Librans are known for, why should such things be showing as difficult lessons? Since the spring of 2014, there’s been a paradox at work in your life: The more you help others — especially your partner – the more you help yourself. The converse is also true.

When you and your partner are able to work as a dynamic duo, you begin to believe in yourself. That positive self-image is one the world likes to see. In other words, helping others brings out the very best in you. The problem is that your partner so often resists or rejects your help. That’s downright exasperating for you, and you can react by walling them off. The year 2015 will help you to resolve festering issues in partnerships as well as what is going on with problematic contracts and agreements. And it all comes down to knowing thyself.

The year begins with a focus on the home front where the vibes are anything but light and breezy. For a number of years, going back to 2008, you’ve faced a number of challenges and power plays when it comes to real estate and/or dealings with your parents. Your partner has not been particularly supportive through it all, and you may feel you are carrying the load all by yourself. You’re learning to anticipate the slow grind and frankly, you’re getting so philosophical about it all that you could write a self-help book about it. [Continued at RulingPlanets.com]

Predictions 2015: Virgo

194px-Virgo.svgVirgo (for those born Aug. 23-Sept. 22): The new year finds you absorbed and nearly fixated on matters concerning children and creativity. When a Virgo burrows into the creativity zone, watch out. They barely come up for air.

But no sooner do you glance up from your projects and handiwork than you find yourself challenged by the first of the year’s three Mercury retrogrades, a time when your ruling planet appears to move backward in the heavens.

Mercury is known for his mental agility and speed. Retrogrades, then, are a time for life on Earth to catch up with Mercury’s fleeting ideas. It also allows you to slow down, review your thoughts and allow information to sink in. While necessary, retrogrades are seldom comfortable for Children of Mercury — especially in 2015, when all three occur in air signs. Air means relationships, and relationships mean people. For the self-reliant Virgo, people-who-need-people spells trouble. That’s how you come across, anyway, even though the big secret is that you love serving others. The good news in 2015 is that Jupiter, the planet of higher purpose and good fortune, enters your sign on Aug. 11. You can count on Jupiter to help you make sense of these challenges.
